Hamilton Jet Visit - 13th Aug
This was a really interesting and informative tour. The videos of boats fitted with Hamilton Jets in action were amazing. Members enjoyed seeing all the components that go into building the jets. Items are made in a wide range of sizes to create jets in many sizes from small to enormous. We saw the metal casting process where each item is moulded. We learned how the specifications of every item are checked and refined to meet the exacting measurements needed to ensure the jet produced is built to perform. The photo shows members after inspecting a huge new machine in the factory’s brand new building.
