Steam Train to Arthur's Pass - August

The Mainline Steam excursion from Christchurch to Arthur's Pass was closely followed by the Southern Lotus Register, with a chance to see the engine up close at Springfield, before it continued up to Arthur's Pass. The photo shoot of the locomotive in full-steam was spectacular amongst the otherwise quiet mountain scenery!
