Club members were invited to bring their cars along to Harman Motors in
Sydenham on Monday, May 7th for a demonstration of a Rolling Road Chassis
Dynamometer test for Torque/Power/Mixture tune settings.
6 members put their cars on the rig (at a very reasonable discounted rate).
The cars were gently warmed up before a full power run-up was done and the
results displayed for all to see.
As a little light entertainment, Club Members were asked to guess the power
output of the various cars before they were dyno'ed. Surprisingly, some of
the 'guesses' were pretty close to the mark!
We would like to thank David and Jonathan Harman for an excellent evening
of entertainment and education.
