Visit to Brands Hatch Restorations Ltd - March 2006
March Club Night activity involved a visit to Brands Hatch Restorations Ltd.in Wilsons Road, Christchurch. Denis and Barry allowed us to view all work in progress and answered our many questions. A lot of interest was shown in the SS 100 replica under construction from a UK sourced kit. This uses Series 3 XJ6 running gear. This one has a 5 speed gearbox fitted.
The Jensen Interceptor and C type Jag were both restorations that have been completed to very high standards and were just about ready to be returned to their owners.
We were made very welcome and have seen some very interesting projects underway. A return visit will be a must.
